Dr Usman Haq is a UK trained General Practitioner who works predominantly in Glasgow, with a passion in weight management and confidence building. He himself has gone through an epic personal journey going from 18 stone to 11 and half stone in weight. What he refers to as his “most remarkable achievement” has resulted in an incredible positive change in his physical and mental wellbeing. Dr Haq loves to see the transformation his patients go through as he can relate to the challenges they face because of his own personal journey and battle. Furthermore, he understands the impact of obesity as a chronic disease that requires long-term supportive treatment.
