Applied Social Scientist

Deian Abankwa is an Applied Social Scientist, Program Developer, Entrepreneur, Mental Health and Wellbeing Practitioner and Author who specialises in Transformation, Mental Health, Wellbeing and Enrichment.

Deian holds an MSc in Applied Social Sciences and Social Research, Barnett House, University of Oxford and is a former MCR President and Member of the Governing body of St Hilda’s College Oxford.

She is a Co-Author of ‘Values and Methodologies for Social Research in Mental Health’: Social Care Institute for Excellence, London 2006. Throughout her career Deian has successfully held numerous Health and Social Care Roles ranging from Main Grade Social Work Practitioner, Service Manager of a Community Mental Health Team and most recently as a Senior Children’s Commissioner working across North Central London.

Deian works internationally delivering Programs in the Areas of Transformation, Personal and Professional Growth and Development. Trained in Multiple Modalities and Approaches,

Deian is now collaborating with a group of accomplished Musicians/Therapists exploring the impact and application of Energy, Vibration and Frequency, as expressed in the medium of Music, to Promote and Facilitate Health, Healing and Wellbeing.
