Daniel Evans

Daniel Evans is an award winning social entrepreneur and Chief Executive of BEC, an organization which supports businesses and entrepreneurs to grow and scale. Through this work Daniel has gained a reputation for his ability to support innovations across multiple sectors and not only take them to market but also to successfully scale commercially. Outside of this, Daniel holds board roles with organizations such as the National Enterprise Network and the International Trade Council. Daniel has been named on the Social Entrepreneurs Index, a list of the UK's top social entrepreneurs, every year it has been published since 2020.

Daniel's session will focus on exploring the role that entrepreneurship can play to provide pathways to innovation across both clinical and non clinical realms within the medical sector - including how as individuals we can explore and push forward our own ideas. The session will also take a look at cross-sector innovation and what the medical sector is able to learn from other sectors and industries.
